To upgrade your existing Analytica or ADE license to the latest release 4.2 or a better edition,
please fill in the form below to identify the license you want to upgrade.
|
|
How it works
|
An upgrade means you trade-in your old license for a new license. You get a trade-in credit
for the old license, which is applied to the purchase price of the new one. If you upgrade
to release 4.2 of the same Analytica edition, and have active support, your upgrade is free.
If you want to upgrade to a higher edition (e.g. 64-bit support or a floating license, both
new in 4.2), you pay the difference between the price of the new edition and a trade-in
credit on your current software.
After you specify the license you are trading in below you will add a product to
specify the edition or product you are upgrading to.
|
|
Trade-in Eligibility
|
You may trade in only licenses with current support. Analytica and ADE licenses always
include 12 months of support from the time of purchase, which you must renew annually.
If your support has lapsed, you may purchase support retroactively to cover the lapsed
period to get trade-in credit for your old license.
|
|
Trade-in Credit
|
We give 64% of the list price for the equivalent newly-purchased license as a trade-in
credit. In addition, any unused active support time will be carried over to the new license,
with the amount of time carried over scaled by the ratio of the annual support cost of the
new versus the old license. What this means is that you are receiving slightly better than
80% of the value of a new license in the form of the trade-in credit. Since you are essentially
getting a new license after trading in the old one, your new license will include 12 months of
support, plus any unused support time carried over from the trade-in.

|
Free Upgrades to Release 4.2
|
Support includes free minor-release upgrades (e.g., 4.1 to 4.2).
If you qualify, enter your 4.1 (or earlier) license code below and you will get full
credit for the trade-in, so the upgrade is free. Your active support expiration date
is not changed as a result of a free upgrade. Or you may choose to upgrade to a better
edition, such as a 64-bit or floating license (both of which are new to 4.2).
|
|
Upgrade to a Floating License
|
A floating license usable by anyone in your organization (but not more than one at a
time per license) is priced at 2.5 standard individual user licenses. If you want to
trade in multiple individual licenses, for a floating license, use this page again to
submit each trade-in license. All trade-ins will then appear in your cart with a
credit to apply towards your floating license purchase.

Finding Your License Information
|
You can find your license code/name when running Analytica, by opening the
Update license... dialog from the Help menu. You can copy and paste your
license code from the License Code field for Release 4.0/4.1, and your
license name from the License Identifier field for Release 4.2.
