What’s new in Analytica 4.4?
These are highlights of new and improved features in Analytica 4.4 added since the release 4.3.

For more details see the Analytica Wiki.
If you have active support for Analytica you can upgrade to 4.4 free as a benefit of having support. If your support has expired, you can renew it, and then get your free upgrade.

You can now publish your Analytica models directly onto the web using the Analytica Cloud Player. ACP lets you share models with others who can review and run models via a web browser without downloading any software. You can email links to your models. ACP replaces the Analytica Web Player (AWP) and offers a variety of new user-interface features, including tabs, frames to show multiple graphs and tables in a diagram, and much more.
If you have current support for Analytica, you can use ACP for free up to 25 user sessions per month..
Expression Assist
This new feature dramatically speeds up the process of typing expressions into Definitions. Expression Assist lists the names of variables and functions matching what you've typed so far, so you can select what you want without typing the whole name. It also shows descriptions of functions and reminds you of their parameters. When subscripting an array, it can list the indexes for the array and then the values of the selected index.

When editing a Definition in the attribute panel, control-click on a node in the Diagram as a handy way to insert its identifier into the Definition.
Influence diagrams
We have subtly improved the appearance of diagrams: Nodes have shaded colors, anti-aliased borders, and ClearType fonts. When you position or resize a node, its corners now snap to grid, making it easier to create a nicely aligned diagram. (Formerly, only node centers snapped to grid, assuming you selected that option.)

Help balloons give an easy way for model users or reviewers to interactively learn about a model. When you move the mouse cursor over a node, it displays a Help balloon, usually showing its title, units, and its Description (just like in ACP).
Visualizing uncertainty
The new Kernel Density Smoothing option gives a way to view continuous probability density results as a smoothed curve, as an alternative to the default histogram view. This view is usually more appealing when the underlying density function is smooth and continuous.
Graphing
When you click a line segment in a line graph, it pops up a window showing the coordinate values at each end of the line segment. You can now change the colors of graphs by right-clicking on the corresponding elements in the key -- often easier than clicking on the line itself.
Spreadsheet functions
SpreadsheetCell and SpreadsheetRange functions (in Analytica Enterprise or Optimizer) can now access not only the cell or range values, but also many other Excel cell properties — the formula, number format, colors, fonts, borders, dependents, precedents, and more. You can also use SpreadsheetRange to return all non-blank cells from a sheet without having to know how big that range is. You can use SpreadsheetCell with parameter Sheet:'*' to obtain an index of all the sheet names -- useful when reading in from spreadsheets with many sheets.
