The Public Index Library

Summary

The Public Index Library is a module that contains all the Index variables that are common to more than one module. Index variables identify the dimensions of each array -- such as time periods, emission sources, receptors, and pollutant species. To ensure easy integration of modules, it is essential that modules use the same Index variables in their input and output variables. For example, the indexes of the emissions that are output from the Emissions module must match the indexes of corresponding input to the Atmospheric Pathways Module. These indexes specify the time periods, source sites, and emissions species for the emissions arrays.
